Imagine the possibilities of a remarkable palette of rich and vibrant colours. SeaChanger was built to offer you just that - flexibility, versatility and access to millions of mood-setting colours. If you can imagine a colour, you can create it. And recreate it, time after time, from delicate pastels to deep, saturated primaries.
SeaChanger was developed to offer you the design flexibility and control you desire, while eliminating the problems associated with older gel filters.
SeaChanger's unique, patented technology uses the advantages of dichroic colour filters to bring to life unprecedented levels of colour. Yet, despite its sophistication, the SeaChanger easily adapts to your environment.
The SeaChanger colour Engine is a product of Ocean Optics, a leading supplier of solutions for optical sensing - fundamental methods of measuring and interpreting the interaction of light with matter. The Thin Films Division designs and manufactures patented dichroic filters for entertainment, architectural and display products, and produces precision optics and coatings for lighting envelopes, fixtures and scientific applications. Ocean Optics patterned dichroic filters are precise enough to project even large-format still images with remarkable resolution and clarity. What's more, their 'coloured light' products use the most robust, highest-transmission dichroic filters available, making them ideal for theatrical and other venues. |

The Seachanger employs four patterned dichroic filters; Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and a patented xG 'Extreme Green' filter. The xG filter extends the CYM colour gamut, enabling you to create deep blues, rich reds and vibrant greens never thought possible by dichroic colour mixing.
Seachangers are silent. Filters are essentially ceramic in nature, making them resistant to heat and humidity and eliminating the need for noisy cooling fans.
In addition, SeaChanger is compatible with a variety of industry stage lighting accessories and preserves all ETC Source Four Ellipsoidal beam characteristics

SEA-Gel Match
This system can determine the CIE colour of a single stage gel or a combination of gels in seconds.
- Ensure batch to batch gel colour consistency
- Document an installed lighting design with CIE colour values
- Catalogue unknown gels (software displays closest standard gel match)
- Check gels for ageing and/or colour degradation
- Calculate the SeaChanger DMX settings for gel matching
- Powered by USB bus
- Optional SeaChanger DMX colour output software module available for DMX controllers
|
SpectraSuite Sofware with Gel Match Database
Cross-platform software with a built-in-library of colours that provides you with SeaChanger DMX settings to match the most popular gels. When combined with the SEA-gel match you can take your colour analysis to a whole new level.

SEA-colour
This portable system provides you with an accurate measurement and calibrations for design elements such as:
- Video Walls
- Scenery painting and refurbishment
- Colour temperature
- Colour rendering
|
SEA-Rad
A portable system with traceable NIST standards can determine the power output of your lighting, ensuring that your lamps are ready for that close-up. With an accurate measurement of irradiance and colour temperature of lighting fixtures and displays you can:
- Catalogue fixtures
- Store scenes
- Ensure lamp consistency
- Calibrate video walls

|
SEA-UV-Comply
UV light is harmful to humans, antiquities and fine works of art. With the SEA-UV-COMPLY, which include all the features of the SEA-RAD, you can also quickly and accurately measure the amount of UV that you are exposed to in seconds. In addition it can provide you with industrial, residential and outdoor lumen compliance measurements.
- Industrial, residential & outdoor lumen compliance measurements
- UV exposure
- Quality assurance
|
SEA-Reflect
Paintings, scenery and antiquities bear strong relationships to the lighting that is used to illuminate them. Measurements using light play a pivotal role in determining age and documentation and are a key component in restoration. The SEA-Reflect system can provide you with the tools needed to preserve and restore valuable pieces of work.
